Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your HarborLit account and all associated data at any time. This action cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

1 Open HarborLit and go to the Profile tab.
2 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3 Confirm on the warning prompt.

Your account and data are deleted immediately — no waiting period.

Option 2 — Without the app

If you no longer have HarborLit installed, email us and we'll delete your account manually.

Include the email address associated with your account and reference "HarborLit Account Deletion" in the subject line. We verify the request and process it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your account credentials and profile information
Your entire library — books, shelves, ratings, notes, and tags
Wishlist, custom lists, reading goals, and reading history
Custom themes and app preferences

What isn't affected: Any active subscription must be canceled separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — deleting your HarborLit account does not automatically cancel billing. Anonymized, aggregate analytics that can't be tied back to you may be retained, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
