These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BookBeacon, a mobile application and related services operated by Teal Nebula LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using BookBeacon, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
You must be at least 13 years old to use BookBeacon. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you confirm that your information is accurate and that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bookbeacon.app if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

BookBeacon and all associated content, features, and functionality — including the name, logo, design, and software — are owned by Teal Nebula LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your library data (the books you add, ratings, and notes) belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you.
BookBeacon uses third-party services including Google Books API for metadata and Supabase for data storage. Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
BookBeacon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Book identification by AI may occasionally produce incorrect results — always review detected books before adding them to your library.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Teal Nebula LLC and its officers, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use BookBeacon.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@bookbeacon.app. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Tennessee.
